 Because
many people are somewhat anxious when they visit a church without knowing
something about it, we have prepared this short article to help you understand
more about us.
We truly hope that your life will be enriched by the worship
services.  Since all we do is governed by the word of God, you will find us
observing only those things contained in it.  We shall do our best to obey
God's will by patterning our worship service after the early church of the
bible.  You will find each of the following activities in our worship each
week:
SINGING.  To many our song worship will be a highlight.
No man made instruments of music are used.  As Christians, we are commanded
to sing and make melody in our heart - (Ephesians 5:19;
Colossians 3:16).
Because of this, we feel it would be an addition to His will if we used
instruments in the worship.  We encourage you to sing along with us.
TEACHING.
The teaching is designed to instruct and encourage all of us in the ways of
righteousness.  You are invited to follow in the Bible as the teacher
presents the lesson.  We trust that you will benefit from the lesson.
CONTRIBUTION.
The collection, or contribution, is taken only at Sunday worship service.
At this time each gives of his means as he has been prospered and as he has
purposed in his heart - (1
Corinthians 16:1-2).  It is voluntary and is the
sole means of financing the work by the congregation.
THE LORD'S SUPPER.
Communion is observed as it was the night of our Lord's betrayal.  The men
at the table will give thanks for the bread and pass it on until the whole
assembly has eaten.  They will then give thanks for the cup and pass it on
until each Christian has drunk of the cup.  We repeat this each week. -
(Acts 20:7).
PRAYER.
The prayers are designed to praise God and
to communicate our thoughts to him.
You will never be embarrassed
At each service, an invitation song will be sung.  Those
wishing to become Christians are invited to step forward and let their desires
be known.  One who believes in Christ (Hebrews 11:6), repents of his sins
(Luke 13:3), confesses Christ as Lord (Romans 10:9-10), is baptized into Christ
(Galatians 3:26-27) and is added to the Church (Acts 2:47).  However, this
action is voluntary.  You will never be singled out for public attention or
embarrassment.
The people are Christians only
Many in America are searching for a church.  The
confusions and division in the religious world has resulted in many names and
creeds.  We have no creed but Christ, accept no book but the Bible, and
wear no name but Christians.  We believe that when we follow the Bible
only, we will be Christians only.
We are glad you are here
We feel a great joy in the Lord.  It is our desire that
we could share it with everyone.  If you have any further questions or need some help
that we can offer, please ask and we will help if we can.
