                  The church of Christ at
                  Ramnajaneyapuram:

The church here has 25 in regular
attendance.  They are assembling for Bible class on
Friday evenings.  Esudas' wife, Vijaykumari, conducts
Sunday school at 6.pm for the children.  Regular worship
is at 8.00 PM. every Lord's day.

                  The children here affectionately  call
Esudas their "PRARDANA PEDANANA", meaning "Prayer
uncle".  Esudas performs marriages and conducts
funerals, memorial meetings, family prayers, house visits and
family counseling classes when some couples have disputes
between them. Esudas' wife spends time to talking with young
ladies and women and conducting small gatherings to teach them
the word of the Lord.  She also gives instruction for HIV
awareness, other health talks and  the importance of home
                  cleanliness.
                 Ramanjaneyapuram is a small
village. It was started approximately 25 years ago. The
population is about 1500 with the majority being Hindus. There
are two denominations here as well. Most of the people work in
one of the 4 crushers mills located in or near this village.
Many people in search of work are migrating to this village,
living in huts nearby.  Most of the migrant workers are
denominational and they sometimes attend the services at the
Ramanjaneyapuram church of Christ.  The people of this
village are very poor and are sometimes employed by the higher
cast people to bury or burn dead bodies. This is another work
for the people of Ramanjaneyapuram besides the crusher mills.

Esudas and his family helped them with rice
and dall during the famines in the last few years. They were
also supplied with Bibles, Hymnbooks, Tables and Chair, mats
and communion tray and glasses. Often times when church
members are suffering with severe sickness Esudas stayed with
them nights and helped them with what resources he had
available, strengthening and encouraging them with the word of
God.  He used his  vehicle to transport them to
cities like Narasaraopet or Ongole where they could receive
medical treatment. Often times the sick lose their lives due
to lack of money for proper medical care.

                  Esudas occasionally helps Manda Mangamma,
widow of the deceased Manda Yesuratnam and the HIV patients
with what money he has available.  Another widows' family
is also suffering from aids.  Bellemmai whose husband has
died leaving her with two children, both suffering with HIV.
Esudas helps these people as he is able.

In this village there are 8 total HIV
patients with two who are converted members of the church.
                  One has since died.

Esudas and his family started this
congregation on 9th September 2002.  They completed the
roof at the end of 2006. Now they are able to hold their
worship services under a roof.    Thanks to the
goodness of God and the support of Christians from across
the world, the building has been finished.  See progress pictures to the right.

The saints in the church of Christ at
Ramanjaneyapuram greet you.  Please keep the the Lord's
church and her members in your prayers.
