Dear brothers and Sisters in Christ

I am sending this report with much prayers for the people who are facing trouble with ice storms in usa. I hope this letter finds you well. Thank you much for your kind prayers for help for me and the work I am doing in India. And I Praise Him for all of you and your families. I trying my best to  spread the Gospel in India. Please find the work report from 9^th December to 15^th December, 2007.

Statistics

1. I lead worship services in 3 congregations.
2. Had Bible Class in 3 congregations..
3. Preached the Gospel for 12 new families.
4. Visited 5 sick.
5. Visited a boy who is suffering with cancer.
6. Had special class for 4 sister converted from Hindu religion.
7. Preached in a birthday payer meeting.
8. Distributed Truth for Today books.
9. Still working for the boy who  came from prison.

I stated Bible class in the midst of Hindu Higher cast location in Subbaiahpalem village. We have 4 sister converted from Hindu higher cast. We conduct the Bible class every Friday evening in the house of one Sis.Tirupatamma. These 4 sisters are aged so that they are not able to walk to the church building at nights.  I stated to go to the congregations very early on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and visiting the members and non members . I find that it resulted good and attract some more Hindu's to the Bible class. . I asked them to talk about the Gospel at the time of their work in the field and invite them to the Bible class.

 I used to stay some time in the building in Subbaiahpalem for the rest and move to the house visits and evening conducting Bible class. There are some mats in the building to get some sleep.

I visited village Yenugupalem when they called me. It is at the distance of 40 kilometers from my residence Because . I baptized some people in that village. There I find a boy name is Kalava Gopi who is suffering with cancer in his stomach. He is the age of 14. I helped some for his treatment. It is not a lot.

Why worship on Sunday:  Introduction: Some people told  we have to meet on Saturday. Because it is in the bible. Yes that it is in the Old Testament. When we have start to read the bible we have to understand where it was told and for whom it was told. Some people just open the bible find a verse and feel that its for them that was provided by God on that day. If we try to read all of that part we can understand why it was written so. In the same way we can try to understand why we met on Sunday, why not on Saturday even its also in the Bible.

I. Some special events happed on Sunday.

A. Jesus rose on first day of the week. Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, Mark 16:9.

B. The Holy spirit came up on the Apostles on that day. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:1-4.Apostels began their preaching work on this day.

C. The church of the Lord Jesus Christ began that day. Act 2:37-42.When Apostles(Peter) began preaching on that day 3000 baptized in to Christ.

D. The churches  met on Sunday to remember in a meal of worship, the death and resurrection of Jesus.. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. Acts 20:7.

E. These churches continued to met through the year on Sundays.1 Corin 16:1-2.,        Heb 10:25.

II. Apostles did what Christ commanded to them. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: Matthew 28:20.Early church did it because Apostles told them to do it. So that we have to follow them.

III. Moses taught to the Jews to remember the Sabbath as Holyday. Exodus 20::8.This is for Israelites only. Deuteronomy :5:1-3,12-15.

Conclusion: It teaches we have to meet on every Sunday to worship Him. On that day Christians remember the sacrifice of Jesus, they exhort one another, they give of their means, they sing and Pray.

I visited several houses and several Hindu families in  the village Subbaiahpalem and in Ramanjaneyapuram village. I talked with a boy named as Kishore who cut her father's leg and fingers in Subbaiahpalem . He listened the word of Lord . I am able to see him to sit in the bible class for now. He said sorry to trouble his father.

 My family and kids are doing well. All of them sending you their hearty greetings to you all. We continue to pray for you.
